Georgia has truly captured our hearts! 💜 From majestic mountains and cobblestone streets that seem to whisper stories of the past, to ancient temples, castles and monasteries. Old stone walls, beautiful wooden balconies and charming streets are around every corner. A very, very big thank you to the entire team at Adventure Georgia for your outstanding service, wonderful arrangements and excellent communication! Everything was so well organised and professionally handled from beginning to end. We enjoyed every moment of our journey and could truly relax, knowing that everything was in the capable hands of Marizel and Scott. Thank you for your kindness, effort and attention to every detail. You made our experience in Georgia extra special and created wonderful memoriesthat we will cherish for a very long time. We would wholeheartedly recommend Adventure Georgia to anyone wanting to experience this beautiful country. Thank you for making our trip so memorable! 🇬🇪

Our ski holiday with Adventure Georgia was nothing short of unbelievable! From the seamless booking process to every little detail on the ground, everything was handled perfectly. The accommodation was fantastic, airport transfers were smooth, ski rentals were hassle-free, and the daily transport made getting around so easy. But what truly made this trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality and care we received throughout. A special shoutout to Marizel and her team — you are an absolute superstar! We HIGHLY recommend Adventure Georgia to anyone looking for a stress-free, memorable ski experience. We can’t wait to do it all again!

Our ski holiday in Georgia was unforgettable and Adventure Georgia made it incredibly easy from start to finish. As South Africans, we really appreciated how seamless and reassuring everything felt from the moment we booked. They took care of all the details — spacious accommodation in Bakuriani, ski passes, equipment, and transfers. We loved the walking to and from the restaurants and of course - since my family love to ski - we made a lot of memories. What happens on the slopes, does not stay on the slopes! Oh, I have to mention the friendly, hands-on support from Adventure Georgia's South African and Georgian teams. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Adventure Georgia were exceptional in arrangements leading up to the trip as well as coordinating everything during our time in Georgia. Be prepared for about a four-hour transfer to Bakuriana from Tbilisi. The accommodation at Villa Mtashi was comfortable, spacious and serviced daily. Guests should be aware it's not a ski-in-ski-out resort but transfers to/from the slopes are organised daily at pre-arranged times. All the logistics staff and drivers speak English and they're very accommodating and helpful. Be sure to let them know if you're a novice and need lessons. This is very important! The slope you're dropped at on your first day could very well determine if you ski or not! They arranged lessons for me on the 3rdday and Bacho, the ski instructor, was amazing! He was patient, extremely competent and actually taught me how to move on the snow. Highly recommended. Hotel Mercure in Tbilisi was a great 4*! Conveniently located and we were able to walk around the city and explore. A Bolt-ride up to the Chronicles of Georgia is worthwhile and affordable. Thanks Adventure Georgia for a great holiday!

When something is too good to be true, it normally is....right?! Well not with Adventure Georgia - we were blown away by the team, the welcoming, the country, the people (both Adventure Georgia Team as well as the locals), the accommodation, location, markets, etc., to such an extent, we are going back next year! 3 different areas for skiing with multiple runs so plenty of options for beginners through to advanced. R/GEL was, value wise, almost the same as home (SA) making going out for dinner and drinks similar to SA costs, which also helped a LOT unlike going into UK and other European ski resorts. Highly recommend it to friends and family and anyone reading this - you willnot be disappointed!

Just returned to Cape Town from a week of skiing in Bakuriani in Georgia with Adventure Georgia. Very well organised holiday. A long flight as expected. The 3.5- hour transfer from airport to Bakuriani felt long but was a pleasant surprise to see lots of snow. Reinhardt our driver was very accommodating and friendly. Accommodation: Well- equipped, modern chalets. All linen and towels supplied. Heating was good. Only downside was that general cleaning could be improved as well as a smell emitting from the drains. I brought this to the attention of the on-site Manager on arrival and before departure. Seemed to be a problem with the other chalets too. I'm sure it can be easily rectified for the nextset of visitors. The welcome and interaction with the South African staff and management was great. Short drive to the various slopes which are really good. Perhaps, for the novice skiers, the nursery slope at Crystal would be a better 1st day option? My wife really benefitted from a reasonably priced ski lesson and was skiing in no time. Lovely vibe at the town that is within walking distance. The distance becomes easier once a few Cha Cha's have been consumed. Lots of restaurants, SPAR and bakeries nearby. The breads are superb. Similar to SA prices across the board. The Adventure Georgia staff organised a snow- mobile trip and were always there to help. A really super holiday and keen to return! The last day was in Tiblisi, the Georgian capital city. Hotel Mercure is fabulous and well positioned for the Old Town. Loved the food and generally admiring the architecture. Tiblisi is a great city and we'd love to experience it in summer. I had heard that the Georgians were a friendly bunch, but we did not experience that although there were exceptions. I highly recommend Adventure Georgia and will use them again in the near future. From start to finish, they were on the ball! Decent value for money for South Africans. Thank-you and until next time...!

Honestly I was sceptical about this experience, but the Adventure Georgia Team (both in SA and in Georgia) were incredible. The pre-trip service and information given was world class, and the team on the ground were always available and very accomodating. They also provided great advice on local shops and restaurants and where to ski based on our experience. I cannot fault this company and would most definitely return as a result. It was great to have a South African touch of class while being so far from home, highly recommended.

We had an unforgettable experience with Adventure Georgia during our stay in Bakuriani! From the very beginning, Liesel and Marizel were amazing — so accommodating and helpful in creating a package that perfectly suited our needs. Their friendly and professional service made the booking process seamless and stress-free. Once we arrived, Nina and Scott took over and continued the exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. The highlight was how they helped us celebrate a special occasion — surprising us with fireworks and a cake! It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that meant the world to us. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made this trip one to remember. I would wholeheartedlyrecommend Adventure Georgia to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable experience in Georgia. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so magical!

Looking to go on a Ski Holiday? You will be in the best hands selecting Adventure Georgia as your travel partner. Our experience from first enquiry to the day we left Georgia, after an amazing 7 day trip, was excellent! Professional and up to date with all the details we needed from Liesel and Marizel in South Africa. All our questions and concerns were addressed and we were kept up to date every step of the way. When we arrived in Tbilisi, we were welcomed by our driver, Scott. Tip…get the 7 day unlimited data SIM card at the airport. It’s well worth it. Our 3 hour drive to Bakuriani was most comfortable and scenic. We were welcomed at ourVilla in Bakuriani by Marizel, Nino and Nina. A spacious Villa with heating throughout and very comfortable. All our transfers from Airport to Bakuriani and to and from the slopes were included. It was always just a simple WhatsApp to either Marizel or Nino and they would confirm the transfer. Nugzar was mostly our driver locally and he was always friendly. Marizel and Nino were always available with any requests we had and nothing was a problem. This holiday felt like a home away from home with true South African hospitality in a foreign country. Language can be a challenge in a foreign country but with hands on involvement from Marizel, and the rest of the team, everything was smooth sailing. Marizel accompanied us on a tour to Borjomi which was delightful with her extensive knowledge of the Georgian culture. The Ski experience was amazing for my 15 Year Old daughter. She started on the beginner slopes and quickly advanced to the higher slopes with the next day. Thanks to Marizel once again for giving us tips on which slopes to tackle on the different days. This was our first ski and snow holiday. Thanks to Adventure Georgia, Marizel and the Team for the amazing experience.

Was a great experience! In a country, known for their own unique language and alphabet, there was definitely a touch of home with the amazing South African host team. The Villas were very nice, fully equipt for self catering as well as doing your own laundry. They were also heated to protect from the freezing temperatures outside. Regarding skiing, I would recommend Adventure Georgia and Bakuriani as a great place for any new skier. Coming from SA most of us haven't even seen snow, let alone put on skis. Bakuriani has multiple beginner friendly slopes with personal lessons available to teach you how to ski correctly from the beginning. Definitely more beginner friendly than some other European ski resorts. Forthe more advanced skiers, Bakuriani is still worth a visit with Adventure Georgia, they have plenty of slopes with nice and challening runs. Night ski is also available, which I would recommend to everyone. The Adventure Georgia team made the entire trip seemless. They organise transport to and from the airport, or your hotel, rent your skis for your stay, organise your ski pass and any lessons you require, provide daily commutes to and from the slopes, on your requested times and assist with any other requests you have. They will even make a traditional 3 course Georgian dinner for you, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your own villa. All you need to worry about is to enjoy your stay. What I also loved about my trip was meeting my neighbours, other South Africans, from all across the country. Who knew that you would get to meet your countrymen half way across the world. Definitely gave the feeling of home in a far off land. Adventure Georgia provided me with a great trip and would recommend it to everyone.

Without a doubt the best experience I've had with a travel / adventure agency. The communication was always swift, and the quality of the service and accommodation was exceptional. Small things, such as immediately receiving an included active SIM card at the Tbilisi airport made a huge difference. Thank you to Marizel and Nino for continuously ensuring everything was running smoothly, and for being very accommodating overall. A special thanks is also due to Albert, our dedicated driver for the week we spent in Bakuriani. Albert is a great driver and person. He went above and beyond in every way possible, going as far as helping us understand the local food and menus at restaurants, and even helping us tofind the right place to buy meat for a braai. If you're given the option, I would highly recommend making use of Albert's transportation services, you will not regret it. Overall, if you want an excellent ski holiday, Adventure Georgia is the right agency to use.

(Translated by Google) The ‘win a ski trip’ competition from Adventure Georgia on Groot FM inspired me to book a well-deserved overseas holiday. Bakuriani is, for me, like our own Clarens in the Free State – on steroids. Autumn is breathtakingly beautiful. The ideal place for photography, hiking, nature and an interesting cultural experience. Of course, the food is there, something to write home about! Thanks to the SA team, who helped me with our flight tickets and the friendly help in Georgia itself. The ski villas are spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed – from cooking to laundry facilities. For those who wanted to know, Georgia is so different from the European countries you usually visit, that itreally is an unforgettable experience. Herfstyd is asemrowend mooi.

Ski, Snow, Fun and Excitement! We experience much more than what we bargained for! Our six-night stay in Adventure Georgia's spacious villas in Bakuriani was an eye-opener, offering more room and comfort than that of your typical small apartments in a traditional ski resort in Europe. Ski lessons are included and sadly it took 2 lessons for the kids to ‘outski’ me! From receiving our sim cards, return transport from the airport, and the hostess (Nino) assisting us with whatever we needed - we loved every moment! Georgia’s festive and different culture might be the highlight, but there are too many to mention. The only thing that I would do differently next time – go for longer! Our ski holidaywasn't just a trip, it was the best holiday ever. Bakuriani's reputation as a child-friendly ski resort is well-deserved. It’s safe and offers endless activities for the kids. For anyone dreaming of an affordable ski holiday, while experiencing something really different – I highly recommend Adventure Georgia’s ski trips!

We spent 2 nights in Bakuriani during October. Autumn was a beautiful season with the rich colours of the trees in the forests warming the vicinity. Villa Mtashi was the best choice for accommodation and can be highly recommended. The hospitality and warmth of Nino and the staff made us feel welcome and settled in. The hosts really went out of their way to see to our needs and comfort. We were pleasantly surprised by the space and luxury of our Villa. Really a home away from home, with all the necessities for a comfortable self catering holiday. The interior design is meticulous and comfort is top notch. The linen and towels were clean and fresh. The mattress in mainbedroom was definitely the most comfortable one of all the other places we stayed in during our trip.. The little town of Bakuriani has a special feel to it and we indulged in the rich cultural heritage of Georgia. The town has enough shops to buy food and supplies for the stay. We walked for kilometres in and around this little gem of a town. We can highly recommend Villa Mtashi if you want to make fond memories and good friends of your holiday in Bakuriani and Georgia.
